Students choose an activity for a four week session. This term I offered Clay Club. Students made their own stamps and then learned to create a pinch pot, slabs and coils. Here are some images of our first just-for-fun creations.

How else can I get these kids to use technology for making great things other than tell them to bring their phones and ipads to class?
Each student used a variety of apps (free and paid for, their choice) or they could use the online versions of some to create an interesting self portrait, or selfies as they call them. Some of the favourite apps : pilxr.com, snapseed, befunky.com, percolator, wordfoto and usketch. I had them create a thumbnail page to show some of their designs. Here is my example. |
